Yahoo Finance Chart reveals how many people worldwide have received a COVID vaccination - and UK leads the way
A chart has revealed how many people across the world have so far received a vaccine against coronavirus.
The graph shows that the UK is leading the way in terms of how many people are receiving a COVID-19 vaccine per head of population.
The statistics have been compiled by Our World in Data, and show that more than two million people worldwide have received a vaccine dose as of Tuesday morning.
These include more than 500,000 in the UK, a figure announced by Boris Johnson on Monday.

In the US, more than 556,000 people have been administered their first Pfizer/BioNTech dose, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Monday.
President-elect Joe Biden received his first dose live on television.
More than one million people in China have received a COVID-19 vaccine dose through an emergency-use programme using two candidate vaccines from Sinopharm and one from Sinovac Biotech.
More than 200,000 people have received the Sputnik V vaccine in Russia, while 10,000 medical workers have been given a dose in Israel and Canada has administered more than 20,000 of its vaccine jabs.

According to the Our World in Data chart, the UK has the highest number of vaccination doses administered per 100 people, with 0.74.
This compares to 0.17 per 100 people in the US, 0.14 in Russia and 0.07 in China.
The figures measure single vaccination doses, and don’t record the number of people vaccinated against the disease - as this usually requires two doses.
It has taken just two weeks for the UK to reach the half a million mark, after 90-year-old grandmother Margaret Keenan, originally from Enniskillen in Northern Ireland, became the first person in the world to receive the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine outside a trial when she had her jab at University Hospital, Coventry on 8 December.

More than 500,000 have received their first dose of the two-part vaccination, the prime minister said.
He said the “vast bulk” of the initial 500,000 doses had gone to people aged over 80 and those who were clinically vulnerable.
Last week, an unofficial vaccine queue calculator was released online to let people work out when they are likely to receive their jab.
