Daughter wants to be a doctor when she grows up, so Mom transforms playroom into stunning medical office

It’s not uncommon for kids to make-believe they have different jobs. The imaginative mental exercise can help them figure out their likes and dislikes while having fun.

When Josie Robinson learned her daughter Journey wanted to be a doctor someday, the mom took things to the next level. Robinson transformed her daughter’s entire bedroom into quite the elaborate doctor’s office.

“My daughter says that she wants to be a doctor when she grows up,” Robinson explained. “I was like, ‘Dude, you can be a doctor right now.'”

The mom turned Journey’s room into a pretty convincing doctor’s office. There was a receptionist area that included a desk with a patient sign-in list, laptop, phone and even hand sanitizer.

“Her laptop and phone don’t work. They’re just for pretend purposes,” the mom said.

Robinson organized a shelf with files, fake patient forms, clipboards and other supplies you’d expect to see. There was a scale, set of crutches and X-ray printouts on the walls. The mom even got her daughter an exam room where patients could get their physicals, as well as an optometry area and waiting room. But that didn’t include the medical supplies.

Affordable gold jewelry you need from Amazon:

“Cotton swabs, diaper rash cream, happy pills which are candy, Band-Aids, ice packs,” Robinson said.

Journey even had a fake diploma to certify that she was in fact a real pretend doctor. People were endeared by the detailed fantasy Robinson created for her daughter, and the video racked up 1.3 million likes.

“I’m a senior med student and I want this,” one person wrote.

“When she becomes a doctor, this will be great to look at, and keep in mind, mom and dad were always supportive,” another said.

“I’m a nurse and think this is a better doc office than any I have ever seen,” a user commented.
