Winners and losers

Stocks in the red include Redfin as Goldman downgrades the real estate site to Sell citing housing headwinds; Ziopharm Oncology as the FDA placed a clinical hold on a Phase 1 cancer treatment trial; and Pilgrim’s Pride, with shares getting plucked as America’s largest chicken producer may face a sales dropoff as China retaliates with food tariffs agains the US.

Stocks in the green include Rent-a-Center as PE firm Vintage Capital Management takes the rent-to-own retailer private for $1.37 billion; Chevron as the oil and gas producer was upgraded to Outperform at Raymond Jones, claiming it is well positioned to benefit from increased oil prices; and Canada Goose, with shares flying high for a second day with the outerwear-maker receiving positive commentary from Cowen. Analysts calling Friday’s earnings “very impressive.”
