Representing Austria, Tom Neuwirth won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 while in character as his drag persona, Conchita Wurst.

Neuwirth started performing in talent shows at a young age and made his debut as Wurst in 2011.

Wurst came second in Austria's pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 and successfully qualified two years later. Her solo rendition of Rise Like a Phoenix scored 290 points, making Wurst the first Eurovision singer to win without any backing singers or dancers since 1970.

Since her Eurovision win, which she described as "a victory not just for me but a victory for those people who believe in a future that can function without discrimination", Wurst has been a vocal campaigner for LGBTQ+ rights.

She's also modelled for designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Givenchy, written an autobiography, and worked as a judge on the reality TV show Queen of Drags.

Neuwirth has also launched a separate music career as WURST, a more masculine-presenting character. And in 2020, his Conchita character made a cameo appearance in the Netflix movie Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Neuwirth's estimated net worth is a cool $3 million (£2.4m).

Nicole Seibert – up to $5 million (£3.9m)

<p></p>

Securing Germany's first Eurovision victory in the show's history, Nicole Seibert won the competition by 61 votes in 1982. She was 17 years old at the time, having launched her music career the previous year.

Her Eurovision-winning song was Ein bißchen Frieden (A Little Peace), and the track went on to become a European number one.

The talented Seibert later went on to record the track in several other languages, including Italian, Danish, and Russian.

Known professionally as Nicole, the mononymous Seibert (pictured in 2007) has gone on to release more than 30 studio albums and 80 singles.

She claimed in a 2009 interview that "everything changed" after she won Eurovision and said her victory was a case of having "the right song" and being "the right girl [in] the right place".

Seibert, who's estimated to be worth as much as $5 million (£3.9m), was the only German winner of the contest for 28 years until Lena Meyer-Landrut took home the trophy in 2010.

Jacqueline Boyer – up to $5 million (£3.9m)

At just 18 years old, French singer Jacqueline Boyer became the first teenager to win Eurovision when she lifted the trophy in 1960. She sang Tom Pillibi and received 32 points, securing France's second Eurovision victory in the space of three years.

It seems a love of Eurovision runs in her family: her father, Jacques Pills, represented Monaco in the competition in 1959. He wasn't quite as successful as his daughter, however, and finished in last place with just one vote.

Now in her 80s, Boyer is the oldest Eurovision winner in our round-up and the longest-surviving Eurovision winner of all time.

According to online estimates, thanks to her decades-spanning singing and acting career she's thought to be worth as much as $5 million (£3.9m).

Lena Meyer-Landrut – $5 million (£3.9m)

Lena Meyer-Landrut was the second-ever German winner of Eurovision. She won the contest in 2010 after receiving 246 points for her performance of the love song Satellite.

Just 19 years old at the time, she had to fit her Eurovision rehearsals around her high school exams.

All the work paid off, however. Downloaded over 100,000 times in its first week alone, Satellite became Germany's fastest-selling digital release and topped the charts for five weeks.

Meyer-Landrut represented Germany for a second time in Eurovision 2011 and finished in 10th place with her performance of Taken by a Stranger.

Outside of music, she's also forged a successful entertainment career, including a coaching role on The Voice Kids and voicing characters in film and audiobook projects.

She's also been a L'Oréal brand ambassador, so it's perhaps unsurprising that her estimated net worth sits at an impressive $5 million (£3.9m).

Loreen – $5 million (£3.9m)

<p>OLI SCARFF/AFP via Getty Images</p>

Swedish singer Loreen, whose real name is Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui, bears the distinction of being the second person ever to have won Eurovision twice: first in 2012 with her track Euphoria and again in 2023 with Tattoo. She's also the first woman to have done so.

Born to Moroccan immigrant parents in 1983, Loreen first entered the public eye when she competed in Sweden's Idol 2004, finishing in fourth place. This kickstarted a career in reality TV both behind and in front of the camera – but it wasn't until 2012, when she won the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2012 and then the Eurovision Song Contest (for the first time), that she became widely known outside of her home country.

Online estimates vary when it comes to Loreen's net worth, with some as low as $100,000 (£79k) and others suggesting her fortune could hit $75 million (£59m) this year. Most claim the singer is worth between $3 million (£2.4m) and $5 million (£3.9m), making her one of the richest Eurovision winners of all time.

Following her second Eurovision win last year, Loreen released a single Is It Love and attended the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in Paris this February (pictured).

Damiano David – $8.5 million (£6.7m)

Damiano David (pictured second from left) is the frontman of the Italian rock band Måneskin, who take their name from the Danish word for moonlight. Måneskin won Eurovision 2021 with Zitti e buoni (Be Quiet and Behave).

The band, which was formed in 2015, originally started out busking on the streets of Rome before coming second in the reality TV show X Factor Italia in 2017.

Måneskin released their first album, Il Ballo della Vita, in 2018 and topped the charts. This was followed by their second studio album, Teatro d'ira: Vol.I, which was released in 2021 and was also a huge success, reaching certified quadruple platinum status.

Måneskin's Eurovision victory was somewhat overshadowed by allegations of drug-taking at the final. After launching an investigation, however, the European Broadcasting Union confirmed the accusations were false.

Last year, Maneskin released their third studio album, Rush!, the first by the band to be recorded mostly in English. Outside of music, David has also lent his voice to a character in the Italian dub of Disney's Cruella.

His net worth has been estimated at around $8.5 million (£6.9m).

Måns Zelmerlöw – $10 million (£7.9m)

Unlike some Eurovision competitors, Swedish pop star Måns Zelmerlöw was already successful when he entered the contest on behalf of his country in 2015.

As well as scoring a chart-topper with his song Cara Mia in 2007, he also came fifth in Swedish Idol in 2005, won the first season of dance competition show Let's Dance in 2006, and hosted musical TV show Allsång på Skansen from 2011 to 2013.

In 2015, Zelmerlöw delivered Sweden a Eurovision victory with his performance of Heroes (pictured), which scored 365 points – an impressive 62 points more than runner-up Russia.

After winning Eurovision, Heroes reached number one in the Swedish, Austrian, and Swiss music charts.

Since 2007, Zelmerlöw has released eight studio albums, the most recent being 2019's Time. He continues to appear on Swedish and British TV, including as a panellist on the Swedish version of The Masked Singer in 2021.

According to sources, he's amassed an impressive net worth of $10 million (£7.9m).

Johnny Logan – $15 million (£11.8m)

The Australian-born Irish singer Johnny Logan won Eurovision for Ireland back in 1980 when he sang What's Another Year.

But his Eurovision career didn't end there. Logan was the first – and until last year, the only – person to have won the competition twice, taking home the trophy for a second time in 1987 with his performance of Hold Me Now.

Logan also wrote the track Why Me?, which was performed by the 1992 Eurovision winner Linda Martin.

Life hasn't always been easy for Eurovision legend Logan. After finding fame in the 1980s, he reportedly had a bad relationship with his record label in the 1990s and developed an alcohol problem. He even considered quitting the music industry.

That didn't happen, and Logan has since released a string of studio albums over the decades. He funded the production of his most recent one himself in 2017.

There's more in the pipeline for Logan: in 2020 it was revealed that a Northern Irish production company had started work on a biopic based on his life. Called Mr Eurovision, the film will undoubtedly boost his current net worth, which is estimated to be around $15 million (£11.8m).

Lulu – $30 million (£23.7m)

The Scottish singer Lulu Kennedy-Cairns, known simply as Lulu, represented the UK at Eurovision 1969, which was held in Madrid.

Aged 20 at the time, she received 18 votes for her performance of Boom Bang-A-Bang.

Controversially, three other countries scored the same, with Lulu sharing her win with Spain, the Netherlands, and France.

Lulu went on to release 15 albums over the years and even sang the title song for the 1974 James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun.

The Scottish songstress was awarded an OBE in 2000 and was upgraded to a CBE in the Queen's 2021 Birthday Honours.

Alongside her musical career, Lulu has also hosted various TV shows over the decades, as well as making guest appearances on the likes of American IdolStrictly Come Dancing, and RuPaul's Drag Race. Online sources place her net worth at $30 million (£23.7m).

ABBA – $200 million (£158m) - $300 million (£237m) each

Formed in Stockholm in 1972, ABBA represented Sweden in Eurovision in 1974. The quartet sang the now iconic Waterloo, which was crowned the second most-streamed Eurovision song of all time in 2020.

The 1974 edition of Eurovision was held in Brighton, England and ABBA won despite receiving a controversial verdict of "nul points" from their UK hosts.

Fast-forward to today and ABBA are one of the most successful music groups of all time. In the 1970s and 80s, the band was made up of two married couples: Agnetha Fältskog and Björn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson.

Both marriages broke down, resulting in the band's split in 1982. However, the four stars continued to make money through solo ventures and the Mamma Mia! musical franchise, which has delighted fans on both screen and stage for years.

After almost 40 years apart, the band reunited in 2021 to release new studio album Voyage. They’ve also launched a residency show in a custom-built arena in London, where "de-aged" holograms (referred to as "ABBAtars") of the famous quartet perform alongside a live band.

Individually, it's estimated that each member of the band is worth somewhere between $200 million (£158m) and $300 million (£237m).

Celine Dion – $470 million (£371m)

The richest individual Eurovision winner of all time is Celine Dion, who has a true rags-to-riches story.

Before finding global fame with her first English-language album, Union, in 1990, she was an aspiring singer from Charlemagne, Canada. Raised as one of 14 children, the young Dion's family was so poor that she reportedly slept in a drawer as a baby.

However, everything changed when she represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988 with the song Where Does My Heart Beat Now? Dion shot straight to global fame after winning the competition by a single point.

Not only is Dion the wealthiest Eurovision star of all time, but she's also one of the most successful singers in the world, having sold over 220 million records worldwide.

Her songs are anthemic, with timeless tracks such as My Heart Will Go On (from the Titanic soundtrack) and All By Myself appealing to listeners of all ages.

Forbes estimates her net worth at a staggering $470 million (£371m), with most of her fortune coming from Las Vegas residencies.
