Yahoo Finance Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's Janet Hubert joins The Last OG
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's original Aunt Viv has landed a brand new TV role, with Janet Hubert joining US sitcom The Last OG.
Janet – who appeared in The Fresh Prince until she was replaced in season four – has joined the comedy series as new character Miss May Miller, Deadline is reporting.
The Last OG follows Tracy Morgan's Tray Barker, an ex-con who is shocked to see just how much the world has changed after being released from a 15-year prison sentence.
After finding a place to live and new ways of making money, Tray tries his best to re-pave his way in the newly-affluent Brooklyn neighbourhood he grew up in.

Janet Hubert will star alongside The Last OG's leads Morgan and Tiffany Haddish as one of Roberta's (Anna Maria Horsford) oldest and dearest friends and weekly whist partner. The pair were once rivals, but are now close friends – and gossips.
When the Jordan Peele-created sitcom returns for its fourth season, Roberta and Miss May will be keeping busy playing cards and weighing in on the comings and goings of Tray's struggle to bring positive change to the community.
The former Fresh Prince star's new role on The Last OG comes after the actress re-united with Will Smith last year for a reunion special, over 25 years after her last appearance on the show.

Addressing their relationship and her dismissal from the sitcom, Hubert told Smith: "I was hurt deeply. When I left the show, I had this new baby and no-one. Family disowned me. Hollywood disowned me.
"My family said, 'You've ruined our name.' And I wasn't unprofessional on the set. I just stopped talking to everybody because I didn't know who to trust because I had been banished. And they said it was you who banished me... It was hard."
