BERLIN (Reuters) - German engineering industry association VDMA on Thursday lowered its production forecast for this year, pointing to factors including the coronavirus pandemic.

Production is now expected to decline by 5% in real terms year-on-year, VDMA said. It previously forecast output would likely contract by 2%.
