Yahoo Finance JCube’s Don Don Donki, Takashimaya and Westgate among additions to COVID list of places
SINGAPORE — Several shops in six malls, including JCube’s Don Don Donki outlet, were added by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Monday (21 December) to a list of venues visited by COVID-19 community cases while infectious.
This comes on the same day the ministry confirmed Singapore’s first community case since 5 December, who had gone on a Southern Islands tour with her family and two other families on 14 December, totaling 12 persons in all.
Anchorpoint Shopping Centre was visited twice. The mall’s Starbucks and tcc – The Connoisseur Concerto outlets were visited on 9 December from 12.50pm to 6.15pm. On 12 December, the mall’s Xin Wang Hong Kong cafe and Starbucks outlet were visited from 12.40pm to 3pm.
JCube’s Don Don Donki outlet was visited from 6.10pm to 8pm on 10 December.
Other malls visited included Takashimaya’s Department Store, visited on 11 December from 6.35pm to 8.25pm; Westgate, visited on 17 December from 6.05pm to 7.20pm; and Raffles City Shopping Centre, visited on 19 December from 8.55am to 9.40am.
Underground mall CityLink’s Coffee & Toast was visited on 19 December from 9.45am to 10.25am.
Other places visited included the Prime Supermarket outlet at 962 Jurong West Street 91 and the NTUC FairPrice outlet at Clementi Avenue 3.
The Prime Supermarket outlet was visited on 12 December from 7.55am to 10.05am, while the NTUC FairPrice outlet was visited on 19 December from 10.55am to 11.40am.

Those who had been identified as close contacts of confirmed cases would already have been notified, said the MOH.
As a precautionary measure, visitors who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit, it added.
They should see a doctor if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection – such as cough, sore throat and runny nose – as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.
Individuals may access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service via the TraceTogether App, SingPass Mobile, or at wereyouthere.safeentry.gov.sg to check whether they were at these locations during the specified timings, based on their own SafeEntry records.
“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” the ministry added.
The list of visited public venues excludes residence, workplaces, healthcare facilities, and public transport and will be updated on a rolling 14-days basis, or one incubation period, and as epidemiological investigations progress.
Singapore now has 58,432 cases, of which 99.8 per cent have recovered, and 29 related fatalities.
