Japan firms to turn more upbeat on vaccination hopes, end of emergency state -econmin
TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese Economy Minister Yasutoshi Nishimura said on Friday that companies' sentiment was expected to improve as a COVID-19 vaccination campaign gets underway and a state of emergency remaining in the Tokyo area is lifted.
Hopes for a global economic recovery were also supporting firms' mood, Nishimura said, after government data showed earlier that corporations expect sentiment to pick up in April-June and July-September.
