Pop star Joe Jonas recently paid $6.7 million for an apartment in a historic Brooklyn neighborhood.

Situated in the 33-story Olympia Dumbo building, the sixth-floor corner unit spans 2,654 square feet and includes three bedrooms and four baths, according to the Robb Report. A great room off the entrance's foyer boasts views of the Manhattan Bridge. The kitchen features maple cabinetry, a stone-topped eat-in island and Gaggenau appliances. The adjacent dining area has a wet bar and Thermador wine cooler.

The $2,833 monthly owners fee provides 38,000 square feet of amenities, including a 24-hour door attendant and concierge, a private garden lounge, a club with a two-lane bowling alley and a fitness center. The building also has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, and private parking.

With the cost of living in Brooklyn 61% higher than the national average, Jonas chose a pricey place to hang his hat. According to Redfin, the median sale price of a home in Brooklyn was $999,000 in April, up 5.2% from last year.

Designed by Hill West Architects, the sail-shaped Olympia Dumbo building was completed earlier this year. Since it opened, condos in the building have commanded some of the highest home prices in Brooklyn.

The most expensive unit in the building, developed by Fortis Property Group, is a penthouse listed for $19.5 million. According to The Real Deal., Actor Michael B. Jordan contracted another penthouse with an asking price of $17.5 million.

Jonas, 34, and his brothers Kevin and Nick rose to fame as members of the pop rock band the Jonas Brothers. After their debut album "It's About Time" failed to achieve commercial success in 2006, the group signed with Hollywood Records and released their breakthrough self-titled second album in 2007.

The brothers gained a huge following through the Disney Channel, appearing in the musical television film Camp Rock and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
