Michelle Keegan has revealed that her family have finally stopped asking her when she is going have a baby with husband Mark Wright after she said it was sexist.

She explained last year that no-one has approached Wright about the topic, yet she has been relentlessly questioned.

Michelle told Women’s Health: “I get asked about children whereas Mark wouldn't for example.

"'Why haven't I had a child? When am I going to have a child?' I don't know what they want me to say. I don't know what the right or wrong answer is."

And asked whether her family ask the question, she laughed: "Not any more!... People don’t mean any harm by it, but they know what the answer’s going to be.”

The pair recently announced that they had started building their dream home together in July last year.

This comes after Keegan was forced to shut down rumours that she and Wright were going through “marriage problems.”

Talking to Women’s Health about the downsides to social media, she said: “I very rarely post [pictures and videos] of me and Mark together, so it’s not there for everyone to comment on, like, "Oooh, look at their body language"

Speculation spread that her long stints away filming for Our Girl in Malaysia and South Africa had put a strain on their relationship.

She told You magazine: "Going away for work is never seen as a good thing, only as a negative, and I don’t understand that.

"Are you seriously supposed to turn down work in case it impacts your marriage?"
