The top viewed homes of 2023 range from countryside mansions to Victorian villas and castles, according to new data from property platform Rightmove.

In a weird year for the housing market, where rising interest rates stretched affordability and the Covid housing bubble appeared to pop, people were still keen to window shop.

According to Rightmove, these are the 10 houses that clocked up the most attention:

A seven-bed £4.5m Warwickshire mansion

This house is a relatively new build from 2008. Dubbed Shenstone House, it is on 16 acres of ground on the edge of a small village in Warwickshire.

It has its own private woodland and a large pond, alongside a topiary maze.

A £75m Grade-1 listed mansion

Denham Place has been on the market since April, looking for a worthy (or wealthy) buyer for its more-than-40 acre estate.
