Here’s how much it costs to call Jeff Bezos your neighbor in NYC

Here’s how much it costs to call Jeff Bezos your neighbor in NYC

He’s the second wealthiest person on Earth — and now you can be his neighbor in New York City.

A 16th-floor residence at 212 Fifth Ave., a neo-Gothic, turn-of-the-century former manufacturing building has listed for $10.25 million.

Beyond the perks of a luxe home, that price delivers the privilege of living among some very deep-pocketed building residents, including Amazon titan Jeff Bezos. He owns the penthouse triplex plus multiple units below — for a total investment of $119 million inside, as Gimme Shelter previously reported.

Sources say Bezos currently owns four full floors, which will be combined to create a “mansion in the sky.”

What’s more, Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, have begun work on the penthouse’s terrace, sources said. That includes recently trucking in trees and hoisting them up to the penthouse by crane, shutting down West 26th Street in the process.

“The trees were all wrapped up,” said a source who watched the spectacle. “The outdoor area is also heavily reinforced, so a pool could potentially go in as well.”

Other billionaires in the 24-story property, on the northwest corner of Madison Square Park, include Texas financier Ed Bass. “About half the owners are billionaires,” a source said, adding that the building has plenty of security.

The listed 16th-floor residence is 3,078 square feet, with three bedrooms and 3½ baths. The sellers bought it for $9.36 million in 2017. It’s currently being rented for around $29,000 a month.

The dwelling opens to a marble foyer that leads to a public space, as well as a 2,000-square-foot private wing with three bedrooms. Details include chevron-pattern floors, high ceilings, custom millwork, marble-wrapped baths and a large laundry room. There’s even a chef’s kitchen with a breakfast bar, and lots of sleek marble and wood. Large windows frame a picture-perfect view of the Flatiron Building.

The building, which dates to 1912, features amenities that include concierge services, a gym with space for yoga and treatment rooms, a screening room, a golf simulator and cold storage — for those Amazon Fresh deliveries.
