NCC Group plc (LON:NCC): Commentary On Fundamentals

I've been keeping an eye on NCC Group plc (LON:NCC) because I'm attracted to its fundamentals. Looking at the company as a whole, as a potential stock investment, I believe NCC has a lot to offer. Basically, it is a financially-healthy company with an impressive history of dividend payments and a buoyant growth outlook. In the following section, I expand a bit more on these key aspects. If you're interested in understanding beyond my broad commentary, take a look at the report on NCC Group here.

Flawless balance sheet with reasonable growth potential and pays a dividend

NCC's strong financial health means that all of its upcoming liability payments are able to be met by its current cash and short-term investment holdings. This indicates that NCC has sufficient cash flows and proper cash management in place, which is a key determinant of the company’s health. NCC appears to have made good use of debt, producing operating cash levels of 0.72x total debt in the prior year. This is a strong indication that debt is reasonably met with cash generated.

NCC rewards its shareholders with attractive dividend yield, higher than the low-risk savings rate, which is what investors expect when they take on the risk of investing in the stock market. That said, please remember that dividend yields are a function of stock prices and corporate profits, both of which can be volatile.
