No offer in Morocco tender to import EU durum and corn
PARIS (Reuters) - Morocco's state grains agency ONICL received no offer in its tender for the import of 50,000 tonnes of durum wheat and 9,000 tonnes of corn (maize) under a preferential tariff quota from the European Union, traders said on Tuesday. Morocco, a major grain importer, has agreements with the United States and the European Union to import certain grains at preferential tariffs, with volumes imported depending on the size of the local harvest.
