North Sea Crude-Brent weaker, Forties steady as supplies weigh

LONDON, July 22 (Reuters) - * Brent crude weakened on Friday and Forties was steady after slipping earlier this week, pressured by an ample supply of cargoes and offers from floating storage.

* Total (LSE: 524773.L - news) offered for sale Forties from the VLCC Orthis, which is anchored off the British coast. There are at least two other VLCCs of Forties - Sara and Gener8 Ulysses - parked off the UK coast, according to Reuters shipping data.

WINDOW SUMMARY

* Brent: Shell (LSE: RDSB.L - news) sold to Vitol a Brent loading on Aug. 11-13 at dated minus 40 cents, down 10 cents from the last deal.

* Forties: Total offered a cargo of Forties for loading Aug. 8-12 via STS at Scapa Flow from the Orthis at $1.25 below cash September BFOE, the same as an offer on Thursday.

Shell offered a cargo loading on Aug. 14-16 at dated Brent minus 20 cents.

Total's offer was roughly equal to dated minus 28 cents. The two offers means Forties is unchanged from dated minus 35 cents on Thursday.
