It’s what you’ve been waiting for! The Evening Standard is now accepting entries to its prestigious New Homes Awards.

Now in their 30th year, the awards have long been recognised as the Oscars of London’s property world, and this year, of all years, there’s more to shout about than ever before.

What a year it has been – a year in which homes have come to mean more to people than ever before. We already know the new-build market has been paying attention. The ingenuity shown in meeting the needs of an ever-more demanding buying public has been astounding. This is your chance to have all your hard work recognised, by both the industry itself and the wider public.

The awards are, as ever, judged by an independent panel of property experts and the Evening Standard’s discerning readers. They will be looking for homes and developments that mark the very best in modern housebuilding.

There are 16 categories in all, encompassing the whole new-build market, from first-time buyer flats to luxurious mansions; from eco-homes to those with outstanding architectural merit, and from boutique apartment projects to large-scale regeneration schemes. Refurbishment projects qualify as well as new builds, including the retirement living sector.

With more first-time buyers trying to get a foothold on the ladder, we welcome entries from housing associations and affordable housing initiatives.

All entrants should showcase their schemes with top-quality imagery and clear descriptions, and this is your chance to share your architectural vision and talk about the challenges you have overcome along the way.

Winners will be announced at a gala luncheon at The Dorchester Hotel, on September 17.

Enter via the entry form here. The closing date for entries is June 25.
