The Royal Family has shared images of The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, on a royal visit to Scotland last week.

The Princess Royal undertook many Royal duties, including visiting a school, a hospital and sites of historical interest. Princess Anne visited the island of Iona, where she reopened the historical Iona Abbey that has been undergoing renovations. She also visited schoolchildren at Iona Primary School.

As part of her trip, The Princess Royal also visited patients at Astley Ainslie Hospital, just south of Edinburgh. Princess Anne can be seen in a face mask talking to nurses and patients.

Afterwards, she joined everyone at the hospital to watch an outdoor concert by The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra. The Princess' husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy James Hamilton Laurence, can also be seen in the audience at the concert.

Princess Anne is a patron of The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra. Attending the event, she looked effortlessly chic in a buttoned blazer jacket, brown patterned skirt and matching brown court shoes.
