Life is too short for boring housework, and vacuuming is one of those jobs that can take up much of your valuable time. But what if you could get the cleaning done while you’re out of the house or while you're getting other chores sorted? That’s where robot vacuums come in. While these used to be pricey, today's models are much more affordable – especially with the 37 per cent discount we've spotted on the Eufy RoboVac 11S.
With a score of 77/100 in the Good Housekeeping Institute tests, the RoboVac 11S is an entry-level but powerful option that impressed testers. It performed well in rigorous tests, picking up pet hair and both small and large crumbs with ease and doing a great job of dust pickup on carpets.
While newer models come with more special features, this basic one does a great job of vacuuming. It methodically cleaned the space and will automatically head back to its base when it needs to recharge.
It lasts up to 100 minutes per charge, so it should have enough battery to get around all your floors. It'll navigate around furniture, with drop sensors to prevent it from falling down the stairs, too. It has a decent 0.6 litre dust canister, which is comparable with some cordless vacuums, but it may need emptying after each clean. It comes with a lot of useful accessories including a spare side brush, spare filter and remote control.
There are a couple of downsides to this vacuum, and you shouldn’t expect that it’ll completely replace your more powerful full-size model. Unlike some robot vacs, the 11S doesn’t connect to your wifi network, so you can’t command it with Amazon Alexa. You’ll also need to create schedules using the remote to make it vacuum when you’re out.
The 37 per cent offer is now on at Amazon, bringing the price down from £189.99 to £119.99. Don’t wait around, though, as this discount is just on for Black Friday.
