Savannah Guthrie's Kids Smile as They Open Easter Baskets and Celebrate Holiday as a Family: 'Oh Happy Day'

Savannah Guthrie had a fun Easter with her two little ones.

The Today show co-anchor, 52, enjoyed the holiday with husband Michael Feldman and their two kids — son Charley, 7,  and daughter Vale, 9.

The family of four posed on the sidewalk together for a sweet photo to kick off their day. Later, the family got cozy at home, with the mom of two sharing a snap of her kids opening their Easter baskets and enjoying the contents.

"Oh happy day 🌸," she captioned the photos shared on her Instagram.

Last month, Guthrie chatted with PEOPLE about being "grateful" for all that has been part of her life's journey — including becoming a mom later in life.

"I'm so grateful for my blessings. I really can't get over it — I'll never get over it," she told PEOPLE exclusively. "I got to have babies long past the time that anyone would really be hopeful, [and] I had long given up hope."

Detailing that she was "so delighted and overjoyed" to have her two kids, Guthrie continued, "I'm so grateful, but I'm always mindful of talking about that too, because we all have moments in our lives where we don't feel that the thing we wanted to happen has happened, or we don't feel that we have been blessed."

"My life has been so surprising and wonderful, because there were times when I didn't think there was much hope for me," she concluded.

Guthrie also told PEOPLE that her two children are currently "coming into their own personalities," noting: "But the greatest thing is that they're so themselves."

"They're stronger and more confident, more self-assured and empathetic," she continued. "And I just think they're amazing creatures."

"I'm so lucky to get to be their mom," she added. "It's such a learning experience."
