According to global fashion search platform, Lyst, “The brand’s Boston clogs are also high in demand, with searches for its shearling version growing 42 percent week-on-week.” Back in July, Lyst named Birkenstock’s Arizona sandals “the world’s most popular shoe,” explaining that searches for the sandals spiked 225 percent over the quarter. The iconic shoe label is also being honored with Brand of the Year for the 2020 Footwear News Achievement Awards.
Known for classic two-band sandals that mold to the shape of a wearer’s feet, Birkenstock recently updated its cult-classic Arizona slides for the winter by adding shearling lining to the cork footbed. Just think of the perfect marriage between UGG and Birkenstocks.
