South Africa's Vodacom says in exclusive talks with Neotel shareholders
JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South African mobile operator Vodacom Group said on Monday it had entered exclusive talks with Neotel shareholders to acquire the fixed-line operator. Neotel is majority owned by India's Tata Communications and would be a major boost for Vodacom's ambitions to grow its data offering. Vodacom is a unit of Britain's Vodafone Group Plc.
