A pair of special Nike Hyperdunks made for President Barack Obama are about to hit the auction block.
It will take a pretty big check to actually secure them, however.
Customized red, white and blue Hyperdunks, complete with the Presidential seal and the number 44 on the side, were listed by Sothebys for a whopping $25,000. The auction is set to open on Friday afternoon.

The shoes, according to the listing, are one of just two pairs of its kind on the planet. The other, of course, was made for Obama in 2009 shortly after he took office.
Obama’s personalized Hyperdunk resembles the ‘United We Rise’ version with white leather uppers, blue Swooshes and visible Flywire technology. Custom details include the official Presidential Seal and embroidered ‘44’s to commemorate the 44th President of the United States of America. The insoles are printed with patriotic graphics including bald eagles with the date ‘1776,’ the year of America's founding.
Obama is a huge basketball fan himself, and was seen attending several games throughout and after his presidency. He would frequently play games at the White House, and even once played a pickup game with stars like LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony and others.
He showed off his basketball skills again on the campaign trail for President Joe Biden last year, too, expertly draining a corner 3-pointer at a high school gym in Michigan.

It’s unclear how much Obama’s shoes will actually end up going for, though some collector will undoubtedly have to shell out to actually land the kicks in the end.
