Yahoo Finance Incoming! Starbucks Has Released A New Frappuccino For Halloween
Last year, the coffee chain treated us (we say treated...) to a Cherry & Scream Frappuccino — an ice-cold cherry and vanilla flavoured beverage, topped with an edible green finger clawing through blood-red whipped cream — and it was actually rather tasty.
But this time around, they've dialled things back a little with the launch of an equally as delicious Sour Apple Frappuccino.
Flavoured with sharp sour apple candy, combined with a creamy frapp base and finished with a spooktacular black drizzle (made with white mocha), we have a feeling this new drink will go down a treat this Halloween. Did we also mention it's bright green in colour?
The coffee chain has also been known to launch a selection of foodie treats alongside its Halloween frapp. For 2021, Starbucks welcomed a Chilling Cherry Cupcake, which featured a vanilla cupcake sponge with a sour cherry filling, whipped white chocolate frosting and cherry drizzle decoration as well as a white chocolate eyeball. This was also teamed with a Gingerbread Skeleton Biscuit — a spiced ginger biscuit which was hand-iced and dressed for trick or treating.
For this year's instalment of Halloween treats, Starbucks instead welcomes a Rest in Chocolate Muffin. Described as a, "chilling chocolate muffin filled with chunks of dark chocolate and injected with smooth, rich chocolate for a sticky centre. Topped with icing and a spooktacular white chocolate tombstone," we can't help but want 10 of these (as well as a limited edition frapp). Not stopping there, the team's also bringing back that very Gingerbread Skeleton Biscuit we mentioned earlier!
