Starbucks’ Halloween Frappuccino Is Terrifyingly Delicious

Halloween is just around the corner, so we hope your Pinterest is awash with costume and pumpkin-carving ideas.

But it’s not just costumes and pumpkins getting us riled up for the spookiest time of year – we are loving all the spooky food and drink that comes out of the woodwork this time of year.

And the super-scary drink we’re here to discuss today is Starbucks’ new frappuccino.

The Cherry & Scream Frappuccino is an icy-cold cherry and vanilla flavoured blended beverage. Sounds pretty delicious, right? Well hold up, because this guy comes with a gruesome surprise: an edible green finger clawing through the blood-red whipped cream. Try it if you dare!

As well as this, Starbucks has also launched two scary food bits to go with the Cherry & Scream Frappuccino.

First up, there’s the Chilling Cherry Cupcake, which is a vanilla cupcake with a sour cherry filling, whipped white chocolate frosting. The cupcake is decorated with a swirl of cherry drizzle and topped with a white-chocolate eyeball.

If that’s too spooky for you, why not give Starbucks’ Gingerbread Skeleton Biscuit a go instead. This subtly spiced ginger biscuit is hand-iced and dressed for trick or treating. This guy is cute as opposed to creepy.

You can pick up all these items from Starbuck’s Halloween menu as of today (19 October). But be warned – they won’t be around forever, so you may want to get a wriggle on.
