Will you be better or worse off from Rishi Sunak’s 2021 Autumn Budget?

Unfortunately, the likelihood is you’ll be worse off. Preannounced tax changes that come into force next year will leave Brits facing the biggest tax burden since 1950 according to the Office for Budget Responsibility.

Tax experts Blick Rothenberg have created a below tax calculator to help people estimate how their tax bill could change after today’s announcements. Use the tool below to find out. Just enter your details and click the arrows to navigate through all the criteria.

Note: Alcohol duties remain frozen this year, but are subject to simplification in future years. Child benefit rates have not been changed in the Autumn Budget announcement but are subject to review in November 2021
