The Manny Margot game? Rays outfielder makes daredevil catch after clutch homer

Baseball is often a game determined by whether a team grabs the opportunity in front of it. In Game 2 of the ALCS, Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot proved himself quite the opportunity grabber.

Just look at this catch he made — going over the railing to grab this George Springer fly ball and stop a second-inning Houston Astros rally.

The context makes it even better: There were two outs, runners at second and third and Springer was at the plate with the Astros’ big bats coming up next. If Margot doesn’t make that catch, Springer gets another chance — and who knows what happens.

Margot knows all about that. The previous inning, he had grabbed another opportunity. The Astros fumbled the third out of the inning at first base after a bad Jose Altuve throw. Margot came up with two runners on and launched a three-run homer to give his team a 3-0 lead.

You gotta grab those opportunities, especially in October baseball.
