Verisk Earnings inline, Revenue Beats In Q1

Investing.com - Verisk (NASDAQ:VRSK) reported first quarter earnings that matched analysts' expectations on Tuesday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $1.03 on revenue of $625M. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $1.03 on revenue of $618.56M. That compared to EPS of $0.94 on revenue of $581.2M in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $1.04 on revenue of $613.9M in the previous quarter.

Verisk follows other major Financial sector earnings this month


On April 12, JPMorgan reported first quarter EPS of $2.65 on revenue of $29.85B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $2.35 on revenue of $28.44B.
