A few days ago, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi was 'hailed' by a section of netizens for possessing 'abs of a boxer'.

The praise came after he jumped into the sea with fishermen during a visit to Kerala.

Puffed up by the adulation, the Congress Member of Parliament from Wayanad in Kerala, has now gone a step further. While talking to students of St. Joseph's Matriculation School in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, he ended up doing a quick round of push-ups after being asked to tell his secret about his perfect abs. His act was met with enthusiastic applause by the audience.

Rahul Gandhi, who is often at the receiving end of barbs for a series of gaffes, seemed chuffed by the reception he got after the push-ups.

Both Kerala and Tamil Nadu are slated to go to polls in March-April.
