What to Watch this week: Dev Patel's “Monkey Man” hits theaters, and “Ripley” schemes again in a new series

Plus, "Mary & George" debuts, and "Loot," "Lopez vs Lopez," and '"Walker" are back for new seasons.

Actor Dev Patel makes his directorial debut in the action film Monkey Man, in which he also stars as a man seeking to avenge his mother's death. Also in theaters, find out the roots of the evil that is the Omen franchise in The First Omen. Plus, Billie Piper and Gillian Anderson star in the movie Scoop, about the interview with Prince Andrew focused on his ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

All of Us Strangers' Andrew Scott stars in Ripley, the series adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's novel, The Talented Mr. Ripley. Julianne Moore and Nicholas Galitzine star in the limited series Mary & George, about the mother and son who infiltrated the inner circle of King James VI and I. Plus, Loot, Lopez vs. Lopez, and Walker all return for new seasons.
