But it has been 20 years now, and where is Shamita Shetty? Or where are the legion new comers that entered the industry with Mohabbatein?

The following year her Telugu movie, Pilisthe Palukutha, hit the theaters but couldn't bring any phenomenal change to her graph.

She was seen in some blink-n-miss scenes of Heyy Babyy (2007) and Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors (2008). You could call that her formal exit from Bollywood, at least the big screen so to say. Shamita had shot for the Tamil horror film Naan Aval Adhu, but it never saw the light of the day.
