Description

ACEA S.p.A., together with its subsidiaries, operates as a multi-utility company in Italy. The company operates through seven business areas: Water, Energy Infrastructures, Generation, Commercial and Trading, Environment, Overseas, and Engineering and Services. It is involved in the water management, energy distribution and production, gas distribution, waste valorisation, and sale of electricity and gas activities, as well as supplies value added services. The company generates electricity through hydro, thermal, and photovoltaic sources. It also provides engineering services comprising planning and implementation, integrated planning, project validation, technical monitoring, drinking and waste water testing, protection and optimization, research and development, geographic information systems implementing and managing, natural and man-made anomalies detecting, and other non-traditional and specific engineering services. ACEA S.p.A. was founded in 1909 and is headquartered in Rome, Italy.
