Applus Services, S.A., together with its subsidiaries, provides testing, inspection, and certification services. It operates through four segments: Energy & Industry, Laboratories, Automotive, and IDIADA. The Energy & Industry segment offers non-destructive testing, quality assurance and quality control, engineering and consultancy, vendor surveillance, certification, and asset-integrity services. The Laboratories segment offers testing, certification, and engineering services. The Automotive segment provides statutory vehicle inspection services. The IDIADA segment offers design, engineering, testing, and certification services to vehicle manufacturers. It operates in Spain, rest of Europe, the United States, Canada, the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. The company was formerly known as Applus Technologies Holding, S.L. and changed its name to Applus Services, S.A. in March 2014. Applus Services, S.A. was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Madrid, Spain.
