The company operates through two segments: Transportation Infrastructure Business and ICT Solution Business. The Transportation Infrastructure Business segment offers railway signal solutions, including centralized train control, automatic train control, automatic train stop, automatic train operation, and train control devices, such as control systems, interlocking devices, and passenger information display systems. The segment also provides traffic control systems that control road traffic signals; and road traffic information provision systems that display accident, traffic congestion, and traffic information. The ICT Solution Business segment offers automatic fare collection solutions, which includes automatic ticket gates, ticket vending machines, automatic fare adjustment machines, etc., as well as develops and sells platform monitoring system and platform doors. The segment also provides various smart city solutions, such as parking system solutions, security gates, and high security solutions required at event venues and airports, as well as develops and sells various robots, including cleaning robots. The company also offers maintenance services for railway signal safety equipment and road traffic safety systems. Nippon Signal Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1928 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
