College protests are antisemitic, anti-American: Apollo CEO

Apollo Global Management CEO Mark Rowan (APO) has been vocal about the rise of antisemitism on college campuses. "The protests we are seeing on college campuses, are they antisemitic? They are absolutely antisemitic. Are they anti-American? They are anti-American. They're actually anti-Western," he tells Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi at the 2024 Milken Institute Global Conference. Rowan argues that most professors, students, and Americans "totally get that there is a way and a right to protest. People should have free speech. People should protest," but that a "failure of leadership" has led to protests that have taken over some campuses. Ultimately, Rowan says that it's a "small group of people who hold extremist views." "They're entitled to those extremist views. What they're not entitled to is to impose their will on the rest." You can catch the full interview with Apollo Global CEO Mark Rowan here.  Note: Apollo Global Management is Yahoo's parent company.
