Is anybody still care about Arlo? Why is it so quiet here?

Daily chart shows MACD and RSI both rolling over from elevated levels. The pps has stopped at the 10-day for now, but I expect it will continue in a down trend for the next few days. I'd also be eyeing the 50SMA at $4.09 and rising. You have to realize despite any good news, this is a 200% gainer since July 20. That's gonna get sold into for a smallcap. You can enter the trade here long term but you're going to get chances to buy lower. GLTA

ARLO on Robintrack; July 28th 5,500 accounts. The day after Aug 5 ER nearly 10,000 accounts. They are pushing this just like Apple, Tesla, etc.

Couldn’t help, but add to my position today at $5.93. I was waiting for a decent pullback to add. Even though I slightly increased my CA, I’m confident I won’t regret it in the long run.

I started following Arlo in early March during the riots when a neighbor installed a system. I bought twice probably before Robinhood or Zack's. since I know nothing about Robinhood, should I be concerned?

Someone has been quietly buying significance blocks of shares over the past week. I have a feeling that something big is happening soon. Let it ride.

I understand the correction for Tesla which is way way big bubble, but don’t understand stress for Arlo. Analysts target range is $6-$8 with rating of Buy!

    Jennifer shorted this lol

You can publish all the comments you want, 99% of people who buy this stock won't see your comments.

If you knew a little bit about reading charts, you wouldn't have shorted this. With all the stocks you could short you chose this one that presents a very bullish pattern.

My advice to you: get out of that short position now.

PS: come back to this comment a few months from now.

Took a run at the declining 10/20sma's but proved a bull trap and confirmed the short term downtrend. The 50sma is up to $4.14...probably better if the pps gets there sooner so we understand whether it holds as support. Will be looking to buy within $.10 or so of that level. Daily chart posted in message below. GLTA

Jennifer, not sure you'll see this post but you asked me on the FCEL thread about the chart for ARLO. Here's my take. As you'll see from the attached chart link, when momentum hits, you get a big spread in the short term MA's (3 locations that I've pointed to in the recent past). That spread plus the wide spread in the Bollinger bands isn't typically sustainable in the short term, and you get either a pullback into the longer term MA's or best case a basing pattern to let things catch up. If you're invested long term, then you'd rather see a slow but progressive upward trend in narrower Bollies that rides above the 20SMA .

Let's say for now, you're willing to invest in 1000 shares. I might buy 50-100 shares here then wait for pullbacks to the MA's or bottom of the Bollinger bands to add more. For those saying this is a great story....'hold', I'm certain that was being said in 2018 when the stock went from $20+ to $10 to a low of $1.57 back in Mar. The cost of money calculation says that's a LONG time to wait to hope you get your money back when those same $$ could've been invested in SPY for the same period (although with the same sick rollercoaster ride) for maybe 30% return. In short, I wouldn't buy here yet unless you're trading short term and you're counting on another momentum pop. GL

it looks bad now, but technically necessary for moving forward, it still in the phase of first sell-off,
a bear trap is forming, the selling will last a couple of days maybe not, depends upon traders' sentiment.
fear is the enemy, a cool mind with planned strategies helps.

Not long or short, just and FYI: Institutional Inflows/Outflows in Q3: $6.5 M bought, $18 M sold. Q3 begins in July. Analyst began their upward PT's in July/August at $6-$7.

Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, and Prudential are the largest sellers in Q3.

Dumped my 7400 shares. Something bad is coming out

Institutional Investors have been cashing in during Q3 of over $15 Million net outflows while retail (Robinhood) investors have been driving up. College has started and kids need cash......I'll be looking for that 50dma PT before I buy.

Did anyone actually read or hear anything during the ER about the financial aspects of the Securitas deal? Did they say how many properties will be using the system and SmartCloud SaaS?

No one knows for sure but ARLO is a very very likely buyout candidate. Monster Bull. Product line-up is incredible and Securitas deal is off the charts auspicious

It's going to be a challenge getting past the 7's without institutional buys.
