The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has opened a new investigation into Boeing's (BA) inspections of its 787 Dreamliner jets. The company alerted the FAA in April that it may have not completed the safety inspections required of its 787 Dreamliners. The FAA said it is investigating whether Boeing completed the inspections and whether company employees may have falsified aircraft records. The FAA also told Boeing it must create a plan to address the 787 Dreamliner planes that are already in service.
