Nasdaq Takes the Lead. For Now.
Now it’s the Nasdaq Composite that’s leading and the Dow that’s lagging. The witches are at it again. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.2% in Friday afternoon trading, while the S&P 500 was flat. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down just 10 points, which is pretty much breakeven.

Dow Turns Lower. The Indexes Are Wavering.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average turned lower as a wacky trading session rolled on. The Dow was down just 16 points, or less than 0.1%. The S&P 500 was down 0.1%. The Nasdaq Composite was flat. The Juneteenth holiday split up the week, and many traders likely parlayed the day off into a long weekend by taking off yesterday and today, too.
