Description

Capitec Bank Holdings Limited, through its subsidiaries, provides various banking products and services in South Africa. The company operates through three segments: Retail Bank, Business Bank, and Insurance. It offers transactional banking services; flexible, fixed, and tax-free savings, and call and notice deposits; term loans, home, personal, vehicle, education, home improvement, business, term, medical, and mortgage loans; overdrafts, instalment sales and leases, credit and debit cards, and access facilities; rental finance; payment services; merchant services; and forex, franchising, and value-added services. The company also provides treasury products comprising foreign exchange spot trades and foreign exchange forward contracts; and internet banking and mobile banking services. In addition, it offers vehicle and asset finance, property finance, and rental finance; and insurance products, such as general, fleet, agricultural, engineering, motor traders, hospitality, contractors all risk, life, and credit insurance, as well as funeral cover. It operates through various branches, automated teller machines, dual note recyclers, and coin and note recyclers. The company was incorporated in 1999 and is based in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
