    EXCLUSIVE: Head of Delta in Seattle to exit Pacific Northwest

    Mike Medeiros, the Seattle-area vice president of Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL) who helped the carrier spend millions to remake Seattle as its largest West Coast hub, has been tapped for a big new job. Medeiros is becoming chief operating officer at Aeroméxico, where he will report directly to Aeroméxico CEO Andrés Conesa, according to a report in the Puget Sound Business Journal , sister news outlet to Atlanta Business Chronicle. Atlanta-based Delta is close to finalizing with regulators its purchase of 49 percent of Aeroméxico, a deal announced in late 2015.
