ICG Enterprise Trust PLC specializes in direct and fund of funds investments. The fund does not make venture capital investments in startups or early stage funds. The fund also provides growth capital. In direct co-investments, the fund invests in buyouts of mature companies. For fund of fund investments, the fund seeks to invest in primary funds, secondary fund purchases, private equity buyout funds, growth capital funds, and mezzanine funds. The fund prefer to invest in healthcare, education, industrials, business services, consumer goods, and services, leisure, technology, media, telecommunication, financials, and other. It also invests in unquoted companies and primary funds in all industry sectors based in Europe, United Kingdom, and Western Europe. For fund of funds investments, it focuses on Europe and the United States. It prefer to invest $100 million to $200 million with enterprise value of between £25 million ($40.62 million) and £200 million ($324.94 million). ICG Enterprise Trust, formerly Graphite Enterprise Trust, is a leading listed private equity investor providing shareholders with access to a portfolio of investments in profitable cash generative unquoted companies, primarily in Europe and the US. It was previously managed by Graphite Capital, and known as Graphite Enterprise Trust until February 2016, when Intermediate Capital Group took over management of the trust. Since then , it has been known as ICG Enterprise Trust. The fund invests in United Kingdom middle market through Graphite Capital Management LLP funds and in other sectors of Europe and United Kingdom market market through investment in third party funds. It also co-invests alongside the funds it has invested and makes secondary purchases of existing funds.
