James P. Shanahan, Jr., managing director, is the Portfolio Manager who focuses on higher risk credits, including distressed and special situations investments in high yield mandates. Mr. Shanahan became an employee of J.P. Morgan Asset Management in March 2005 and prior to that time held the same role at Banc One High Yield Partners, LLC and Pacholder Associates, Inc. since 1986. Mr. Shanahan holds an Honors BA from Xavier University and a JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
