The tech giant announced last year that Ruth Porat would be stepping away from the role to become the company's President and Chief Investment Officer. Shares of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) are surging after reporting second quarter results that topped Street estimates and issuing better-than-expected Q3 and full-year guidance.
