Description

Mitsubishi Paper Mills Limited, together with its subsidiaries, produces, processes, and sells paper, pulp, and photosensitive materials in Japan, Europe, rest of Asia, North America, and internationally. The company operates through Paper and Pulp, Imaging Media, Specialty Materials, and Warehouse and Transportation segments. It offers printing, communication, household and consumer, barrier, photo/poster, label, antibacterial/antivirus, bleached kraft, and color papers, as well as processing chemicals; heat-resistant pressboards; graphic arts and photographic materials; inkjet media; pulp; production inkjet and transfer papers; and electronic-related products comprising electronic materials, silver nano particle ink, SF films, and dye sensitized solar cells. The company also provides ThermoRewrite products; fireproof glass fiber products; air filters; and printing products, including laser thermal-sensitive films, computer to plate (CTP) printing plate systems, CTP printing plates for newspaper printing, and digital screen mask make systems, as well as wet-laid nonwoven products comprising glass papers, liquid filter media, and offset printable nonwoven fabrics. In addition, it offers wood chips; functional non-woven fabrics, such as water treatment membrane support substrates, industrial filters, air filters, and super heat-resistant glass fiber non-woven fabrics; electronics, including battery separators, photosensitive resist products, and resin etching systems; and other products comprising commercial tape base materials, base materials for interior finishing, rewritable media, paper straws, and medical/healthcare products. The company also provides warehousing and transport-related services. The company was formerly known as Mitsubishi Paper Mills Company and changed its name to Mitsubishi Paper Mills Limited in November 1917. Mitsubishi Paper Mills Limited was incorporated in 1898 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
