Natwest Group (NWG) reported Q2 earnings of 10 pence ($0.12) per share, down from 10.6 pence per share a year earlier.

Revenue expressed as the sum of net interest income and noninterest income was 3.21 billion pounds, compared with 2.57 billion pounds a year earlier.

The bank said it now expects full-year 2022 income excluding notable items to be around 12.5 billion pounds in the group, excluding Ulster Bank RoI. Its previous guidance was for above 11 billion pounds.

NatWest is scheduled to unveil its H1 earnings for its six months performance ending June on 29 July. Just as is the case with its sector peers, analysts are expecting the same trend of a higher top line and lower bottom line. Alongside that, investors in its shares and the wider stock market will be paying attention to its remediation figure and number of late-stage loans to determine whether the UK is heading for a recession. The former is essentially the amount of money allocated as a buffer to cover potential defaults from customers.

I bought 2,000 shares around $6 before the covid 19 crisis and then bought 1,000 shares today.
With all the money the EU is puting as stimulus, I am buying UK and German Banks. I bought Deutsche banks and Commerz Bank.
How do you guys feel about those 3 stocks?

Regular interim dividend of 2 pence plus a special dividend of 12 pence coming, that is about 17 US cents/share in the UK.
The ADR equals two shares, so 34 US cents per ADR. Nice! At current price of 4.975 it is an immediate interest of 6.8%. A good deal in my opinion!

If the Labour party does not get to power this will go to the moon, $9-$10 easy. It has improved consistently since 2008 and shareholders have suffered enough. Go RBS!

RBS is best capitalised bank. It has £78bn worth of cash and its CET1 stands at 16.2%, the highest of any of ‘the big five’ banks. I think it is good buy opportunity.

It's been moving up nicely, lets hope with this rise in cases and lockdowns happening... it won't hurt NWG too badly. Although IF it goes back to $3 or under, I would certainly add to my position and lower my cost basis.

My sympathies to those counting on the div. payment. However, the move to cut the dividend will help this bank survive and will help the share price rise much faster. The dividend will return soon after this virus subsides.

I have not been following the news on this one lately. Anyone out there who has prediction for NWG value post-Brexit and post-pandemic - say 3 years from now?
