The company operates in three segments: Insurance, Travel, and Other Businesses and Central Costs. It offers car, home, health, travel, landlord, boat, motorhome, caravan, pet, and personal accident, breakdown cover, holiday, and holiday home insurance, as well as accidental death benefit products. The company also operates and delivers package tours and cruise holiday products; and provides personal loans, equity release and care funding advice, savings accounts, credit cards, and wealth management services, as well as shares ISA, share dealing, nominee, and certificated accounts. In addition, it offers domiciliary care, automotive vehicles repair, and mailing house services; markets retirement villages; and publishes Saga Magazine. The company was formerly known as Saga Limited and changed its name to Saga plc in May 2014. Saga plc was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Folkestone, the United Kingdom.
