CCTV Captures Iron Dome Missiles Over Southern Israel

A CCTV camera in the city of Rehovot captured Israel’s Iron Dome missile-defense system in action over areas in the south of the country on the evening of May 14.

This video, recorded by a camera belonging to Rehovot resident Tai Tzaban, shows several missiles streaking across the sky some distance away before flashes can be seen.

According to local reports, rockets were fired from Gaza into parts of southern Israel on Friday, setting off sirens in the area.

At least eight people have been reported killed in Israel after groups in the Gaza Strip began firing rockets across the border. According to the ministry of health in Gaza, at least 119 people have been killed in Gaza since the start of Israeli bombardments. Credit: Tai Tzaban via Storyful
