Explosions Seen as Overnight Airstrikes Hit Buildings in Gaza

Large explosions were seen in Gaza in the early hours of May 18, as Israeli airstrikes hit buildings in the Al-Katiba area of the Palestinian enclave.

Video posted to Instagram by hamdaneldahdouh shows the moment multiple strikes hit the buildings, causing explosions and large plumes of smoke.

By Monday night, the total number of deaths in Gaza during the present conflict was 212, the health ministry there said.
