Four Hospitalized After House Explosion in Ayr

Four people, including two children, were taken to hospital after an explosion shook a housing estate in Ayr, Scotland, on Monday evening, October 18, police said.

South Ayrshire Police said emergency services were called to the blast in Gorse Park at around 7:10 pm on Monday. They said four houses were affected and that a number of premises were evacuated.

According to Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper, at least one house was entirely destroyed in the explosion.

Police said enquiries were ongoing to establish the cause of the explosion.
