Great White Shark Circles Perth Fisherman's Boat

A great white shark swam extremely close to a boat near Garden Island, off Perth, Western Australia, on August 18.

James Miller, who caught the scene on camera, told local media that the shark was at least four meters long and circled his boat for nearly half an hour. Miller was fishing with his friend, Sam Shellabear, at the time. They pair can be heard exclaim with surprise as the shark looms up from the water, with one of them saying, “He’s looking at me!” Credit: James Miller via Storyful
