Italy Says EU Must Stay at Brexit Negotiating Table
Sep.15 -- Italy ruled out pulling out of trade deal talks with the U.K. as Prime Minister Boris Johnson pushes ahead with his plan to renege on part of the Brexit divorce accord. Italy’s Minister for European Affairs Vincenzo Amendola told Bloomberg's John Follain there is still work to be done with the U.K. on trade, security and other issues, “so it is in everyone’s interest to reach an accord." Amendola also talked about the European Union's frustration with the Chinese government on the investment deal accord.
