Lightning Flashes in Tallahassee as Storms Sweep Florida

Rain poured and lightning flashed across the sky in Tallahassee, Florida, on Friday, April 19, as the National Weather Service issued storm warnings and confirmed a tornado in the area.

Video posted by the City of Tallahassee shows driving rain and a bright flash of lightning near the State Capitol. The city reported multiple power outages due from the storms.

Local universities delayed opening times, according to local media reports.
